"TURNOVER" IN DRAPERY.
The possibilities of "turnover" in tlie drapery business are demonstrated in a remarkable manner by Selfridge nnd Co., who own the well-known London Emporium in Oxford Street. Referring at the recent annual meeting to last year's operations, the chairman and managing director. Air. H. Gordon Selfridge, said: "Tho stock in trade is but a little higher, and our number of times turned is much tho best, in the history of the business. For this past year it approaches ten times at cost on average stork, and all merchants know that a rapid turnover is a wonderful protection against accumulation of old and paste goods."
