THE SHANNON BANKRUPTCY.
! * A HOPEFUL CREDITOR. (Isy Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The bankruptcy of George Vance Shannon teas again before the Supreme Court today, when application was made to Sir Robert Stout for discharge. It may be remembered that the only proved creditor was Matteo Sarcicbe, who secured a verdict from Shannon of floOO damages in divorce proceedings. Air. Macassey (for Sariche) opposed dicharge, unless there was some reasonable offer of settlement Deing made. There was a prospect of Shannon coming into money, which Sarciche would have no opportunity of getting. Sir Robert Stout allowed the adjournment, although he did not know whether the extension would be of any assistanco to tho creditor.
