RUGBY FOOTBALL
REINSTATEMENTS DISCUSSED. TWO APPLICATIONS DECLINED. At the weekly meeting last night of the A.R.U. Executive, Mr. T. H. Dawson presiding, a number of applications for reinstatement were considered. Among them were two former prominent players, G. J. Gardiner and I. Littlewood, concerning whom there was a certain amount oi evidence taken, after which the committee decided to decline the applications. Applications from W. JV. McLean, J. O'Sullivan and G. Farner were passed for consideration by the New Zealand Kugby Union, and the latter body advised having passed the applications of C. Watson, (J. Leonard, L. H. Schrafft, B. A. Palmer and A. E. Corlieson. Advice was received from the Auckland Kacing Club, granting the use of one playing ground, as formerly. SATURDAY'S ARRANGEMENTS.
