SEVEN YEARS' TREATMENT

JUDGMENT FOR PLAINTIFF.

WELLINGTON, Tuesday

In the Magistrate's Court to-day Dr. C. D. Henry proceeded against F. Richardson, civil engineer, for £118, balance of professional fees.- Plaintiff, who had attended defendant for seven years, stated that if he had charged according to scale the bill would be twice as much. He had performed four operations. Replying to an assertion that these were not consented to by defendant, plaintiff said that Richardson had not refused them and insisted on the last one.

Defendant, in evidence, said he consented to a slight operation. lie had not been informed of the real nature of the operation.

The magistrate said he sympathised with defendant, as the operations were not, in defendant's opinion, satisfactory,
