Keith McMinn, aged two years, discovered a packet of caustic "soda while playing at the residence of his parents, 5, Grattan Street, thi3 morning. The child opened the packet. Unfortunately his mother was not there to watch him and he commenced to eat the corrosive. Soon afterwards he became ill, and at noon he was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. The little boy's condition is not regarded as serious.
