At the annuil meeting of the South Auckland Rifle Association, held in Waihi, the chairman (Captain Bruce) said the shootinjr meeting had been carried out exceptionally well. He paid special tribute to the secretary, Mr. H. B. Dale, and range officer Sergeant-Major Paterson. The election of officers resulted :—President. Mr. J. G. Comes (Waihi I : vice-president, Lieut. W. D. I.ittlejolin (Waihl) ; secretary, Mr. H. B. Dale (Waihi). his twelfth term of office ; Management Council, Lieut. J. T. Atkinson (Akaranal. Major Potter (retired. Auckland I, Pres. E. J.
