MEN OF THE MARAMA.
1 FIREMEN "WALK OFF. SYDNEY, April 10. i The Marama was ready to sail for Wellington at 10 a.m. yesterday, when 20 of the stokehold crew walked off the vessel. They refused to give any reason for their action. Subsequently the - remainder of the men in the stokehold left the ship. Efforts were made to secure otheF stokers, but without avail, and the Marama's departure was postponed.—* (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
