TWO CARS COLLIDE.
1 "" 7 CAPSIZE ON ROADSIDE. PASSENGERS SLIGHTLY INJUEED, (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) • PAEROA, this day.. A car containing Constable llcClinehy and Messrs A. R. Gorrie and J. Handley, residents of Paeroa, -who were returning from Te Aroha, when endeavouring to pass another car coming in tlie opposite direction, pulled off the roai near Mangaiti and got into a pit near the roadside, completely capsizing. The other car continued on without stopping. Assistance was sought from a nearby farmer who drove the unfortunates to Paeroa. Mr. McClinchy sustained « badly lacerated Tight wrist and bruisei. Mr. Gorrie, on whom the car was Testing, sustained severe bruises. Mr. Handlef escaped with a shaking. The car vrai badly damaged.
