All went over the stone wall and brush fence, but berore the hill was reached Highway and No Surrender were pulled on to the course proper and completed their task on that track, Highway being well in Tront at the finish. Fool's Paradise was held back to Grand Knight over a straight six furlongs on the course proper. Star Mist, receiving weight, beat Sparklight over six ruriongs on the plough in 1.18. Mountain Lion and Royal Star were well matched over a mile on the plough in 1.45 3-5. Ayrburn beat Sartist over six furlongs on the plough in 1.16 3-5. Red Wink ran five furlongs on the plough in 1.4 1-5. Pilliewinkio covered a mile on the plough, the last seven 'furlongs taking 1.30 2-5.
