WELLINGTON HOSPITAL.
BILL TO LOCAL BODIES. IXCRKASK OF £12,354. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A special meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board this morning passed estimates for the year and asked local bodies for sums amounting to £>1,290, compared with £3S.9oti last year. The ordinary expenditure for the coining year i* estimated at £120,890, and the capital expenditure at £93009. Increased expenditure is accounted for by additional accommodation, better conditions and increases in the staff for nurses and increased number of patients. Last year SSIO "were treated as in patients, an increase of 1000. compared with the year ending March, 19-.JO.
