SUPREME COURT SENTENCES.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. In the Supreme Court to-day Herbert John Doran, for theft of moneys from the Eastbourne Borough Council, was sentenced to 12 months' reformative treatment. Samuel Knight, for false pretences at Feilding, received 18 months and was declared an habitual criminal j Edward William Slattery, for forgery and uttering at Lower Hutt, was sentenced to 18 months' reformative treatment, and Leslie Herbert Brandon, for false pretences at Wanganui, to two years. Douglas James Sanson, for theft at Christchurch, and breaking and entering at Wellington, was also sentenced to two years' reformative treatment. George Henry Davis, carnal knowledge, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, on condition that he married the girL Wallace George Wilton, for forgery and uttering, was sentenced to two years in the Borstal Institute.
