REGATTA FOR DARGAVILLE.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLK, this day. ' A few weeks ago the Northern Wniroa Regatta Club decided to abandon the regatta this yenr. Since then the Dargaville RowIng Club took the matter up, and decided to hold a trial fours and swimming events on March 28. Five ladies have promised a medal each for five trial fours, two open, one lOst nnd under, youths under 21, and boys under Sst 71b. A cup has been presented by the Te Kopuru Club (holders) for an open trial fours; a Drysdnle rose bowl will go to the youths" fours ; Mr. Peat has presented a handsome cup for the North Auckland half-mile swimming championship, open to competitors residing between Helewville and the North Cape. A miniature cup and gold medal will go ,to the winner of this race, the club holdiilg the cup.
