CITY HOTELS.
MEETING OF LICENSING COMMITTEE. TRANSFERS GRANTED. The quarterly meeting of the City Licensing Committee was held at noon to-day. Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., presiding.
Senior Sergeant Edwards appeared for the police.
The following transfers were granted: Queen's Hotel, from G. H. St. C. Foster (McVeagh and Fleming), to Stuart Garland; Star Hotel, Newton, from B. B. Raynes (Nicholson and Gribben), to G. H. St. C. Foster; Strand Hotel (permanent transfer), from Bruce Tudor (Mr. Bagnall), to E. T. Burns; Albert Hotel from V. Wilde to D. M. Evans (Mr. Bagnall); Thames Hotel, from A. M. Baird to W. F. T. Grigeby (Mr. Bagnall) ; City Hotel, from Frederick James Sands (Mr. Stevens), to Charles H. Trigg.
