The Disputes Committee met to discuss the refusal of the watersiders to work the steamer Awahou, just arrived from Auckland. It is stated that the men raised an objection to an expression on his last visit to the port. The capalleged to have been used by the captain tain denies having used the expression complained of, and is supported by members of the crew. The watersiders offered no suggestions for settlement and the matter has been referred to Wellington.
