OBITUARY.
MAITRE DE MANGE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, February 11. Maitre de the famous advocate, who was counsel for the defence in the Dreyfus case, is dead.— (A. and N.Z.) SIR R. T. CORYNDON. LONDON, February 11. The death is announced of Sir Robert Thome Coryndon.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) Sir Robert Coryndon was a Cape colonial, and has been High Commissioner and Commander in Chief of Kenya for the past three years. Ho was born in the Cape Colony, but was educated at the famous public school at Cheltenham. He joined the Bechuanaland police as a trooper, and in various forces has" seen much African lighting. He was secretary to Mr. Cecil Rhodes. He has held may high administrative posts in Africa. He was 53 years of age.
