SEQUEL TO POLICE RAID. GAMING CHARGES HEARD. As a sequel to the raid by detectives last. Friday night at the Adriatic Club, occupying n suite of rooms on the top floor "of the Mills Baty building in Victoria Street, scxcral men appeared at the Police Court this afternoon before Mr. -I. XX". Poynton, S.M. A number xvere dealt xvith last. S'aturdax- morning. John Bakulirh (44) xvas charged xvith keeping a common gaming house in Victoria Street known as the Adriatic. ( lub. and xvith using certain premises as a common gaming bouse; Tony Bakulich (32), and Redaj Paul Kulus (32) each xx-ith using the premises as a common gaming house, and also with assisting in the management of a gaming house; while the following xverc each charged xvith having been found in a common gaming house:—Krizar Baletich (30). George Michaelevich (32). Phillip Matich (42), Richard Peter Kulus (31), Allan Carlton 123), Victor David (24), Ilx-an Stankovich (31), Thomas Enrich (21), Vicent. I'ivac (27), Mita Clarke (45), 'and -l-nrgc Tolich. ; Chief Detective J. Cummings is prosej filling, xvhile Mr. J. .1. Sullivan is ] appearing fnr Bakulirh and a number ;nf I ho others.
