Reporting to the City Council last Diglit. on the matter of branch libraries, the. Mayor (Sir James Gunson) said: •It i< -villi pleasure that wg liax c welcomed Miss Melville back to her place in the Council, snd also in respect of her position as chairwoman of the Library Committee, which duties Miss Melville has resumed.
