CENTRE EVENING SPORTS. Another evpning meeting was held at the Domain yesterday under the auspices of the Auckland Centre, when four handicap events -were contested. Chief Interest was taken in the mile junior cycle race, for j which there were many competitors, and which resulted in a win for F. Bowes from I the .".yds mark. The competition in the I pedestrian events was strongest in the quarter-mile, which was won by H. T. Frost. The results are : — 440 yds Handicap.—H. T. Frost. 40vds 1: V. Nesdale, syds, _; M. J.
