OBITUARY.

PIONEER OF MANGAWAI. MKS. ANGUS STEWART. : The death of Mrs. Angus Stewart, of i Mangawai, at the age of S9 years. I removes one of (lie early pioneer I settlers of the North of Auckland. There are 'JO grandchildren, and 27 greatgrandchildren. MRS. EMILIE BAUME. A former well-known resident of Dunedin, Mrs. Eniilie liaume died this week at the residence of her daughter. Mrs. Frances Nathan. Deceased was a , sister of the late Mr. Louis Ehrenfried, i and was married to Mr. Joseph Baunic, |of Dunedin. Her son was the late Mr. IF. E. Baume, K.C., tine time member lof the House of representatives for an ■ Auckland seat.
