NATIVE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.
• TEACHERS NOT SATISFIED. | DISCUSSION AT CONFERENCE. Tho Native School Teachers' Association continued its conference to-day. The disparity in the holidays of the native and European schools was discussed with some feeling. At present the native schools have three weeks less than the others. The Department, contend lhat. it is not in the interests of the native to have more holidays, apparently overlooking the hardship thus imposed on the teachers. It was deciderl to make another attempt to obtain the full holidays to which the schools are entitled j under the Act. The following officers were elected: — j President. Mr. W. X.
