WHANGAREI TOURNAMENT.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this dsy. On New Years Pay the Whangarei Bowling Club's greens wore occupied with an alternate pairs tournament, in which, eighteen skips and eighteen leads participated. The winner was Mr. A. G. McKenzie. a veteran of 81 year? of age, who went through without defeat. At the cou- ! elusion of play he was accorded an ovation.
