RUNAWAY BURGLAR KILLED BY TAXI.
Hearing suspicious sounds inside a public house at Rutherglen late one Saturday night recently, policemen entered. Three men ran out of the building and two disappeared. But the third darted across the road and ■was knocked down and killed by a taxi cab. 1
