-At St. Pa ricks cathedral last evening a Bpeclal aervlce tQok nect.on with the inauguration of the Father Bradley, A.D.M., preached a sermon ,n winch outlined the history of \nt o ( f n y f\'r d eXplained the Waning of the Jubilee and the privileges to be ga.ned by pilgrimages to the Eternal City Amongst the special intentions for which Pope Pius XI has requested the prayers of the faithful are, universal peace, the safety of the Holy places in Palestine, and the conversion of unbelievers. During the solemn benediction, the congregation stood while the "Veni Creator Spiritus" was suno. The service concluded with the singim* of the Hallelujah Chorus.
