The Thineilin .Tmkcy Clubs summer meeting opened in dull weather, nnil with occasionnl showers, which made the course slightly boli'iug. Later results : — Summer Hurdles Handienp. one mile unci three-quarters.—Frisco Mail (Humphries) 1, Parkside 2, Londonderry ;'.. Also started : Bellrork, Penury Rose, Red Krlss, Kerry Star. Wapp'ng, Raconteur. Frisco Mail lo<! over the last fence, and enme on to win by a good three lengths, half n Jength between second and third. Kerry Star fell, and Wapplng ran off. Time, 3.22. Kerry Star's neck was broken. Otneo Handicap, one mile and n-qnarter. —Mantua (Metcalf) 1, Mountain l.ion 2. I.ncinette :".. Also started : Loughrea. I'alistrina Happy Warrior. Rivalry. Mountain Lion, who was in front most of the way, led into the straight, but In the run home Mantua put in a strong claim, and won by three pnrts of n length, with Lucinette three lengths away, followed by Rivalry, and Loughrea. Time, 2.0. Trial Stakes. —Retrospect (Eastwood) 1, Peho 2, Gorgeous 3. Also started : April Showers. Comic Pong, Wise Counsellor. Ellesmere. Retrospect led into the straight. and won easily hy seven lengths, with necks between the next three. Time, 1.30 3-3. ~ Federal Handicap, sir f urloncs—Moorland (Emerson) 1. Bugle Note 'J. (.eranial :•. Also started: Ravenna. The Harp. Ayrhurv, Fulmar, Bella Lake, Gay Juliet. Moorland led into the straight, and keeping clear, won by live lenfrths, with a neck between second and third. Time, I.ll>. As the result of an inquiry, Burns, the rider of Geraniul was cautioned for interference. Otokia Welter Handicap, one mile.—Top Score (Jones) 1, Guncase 2, Giantkillcr■ 3. Also started : Bonnie Winkle and Monoxide. Guncase led into the (straight, hut Top Sotc wore him down and won by nnlf n length, with three lengths between second and third. Time, 1.41 1-5. Burnslde Handicap, six furlongs.—Apple Dighton 1, Winkles Best 2. Hurdy Gurdy 3. Also started: hnoehlyn. Clontart, Mayttme, Tommy Dodd. Taboo, Bonnie Olive, Goldspinncr, RockfeUow, Rapier. Apple Dighton led into the etrklght and. ridden out, beat Winkle s Best by three parts of a length, with a length and a-half between second and third, lime, 1.16 4-5.
