The Plunket Shield match between the Auckland icpresentatives and Canterbury was commenced at Lancaster Park this afternoon. The weather was fine, but the sky was overcast. The wicket was in good order. Canterbury won the toss, and decided to bat, opening with Blunt and Gasson.
