SITTING OF COMMISSION. NO DOMINION PREFERENCE. (Keceired 2.30 p.m.) LONDOX, December 25. The secretary of the Food Commisfion has issued a statement to the effect that the commission held eight public meetings, at which it had takeu evidence in regard to prices in general and in the wheat, flour, and bread trades in particular- It did not hear evidence in ifgard to meat. No scheme for licensing imports or the control of supplies was submitted.
