APPEAL TO YOUNG MEN.

It was now time for the younger generation to get to work to do something, for those who were to follow. The centre of the world was shiftin" to the Pacific, and it might.be .that-New Zealand had yet to perform as big a part in the years ahead as Britain, which, also a small island, had done in the Old World. New Zealand had one of the best education systems in tlie world, for the university was withhi ths reach of all. From a physical point of view they could see by the victories ot the All Black football team their boys ■ were all right. They were the pick of a, million and a half of people, beating the pick of forty millions of people. In the Great War New Zealandcrs had also proved their worth. What he wanted now was for the young men of the Congregational Church to show that they were willing to devote their tiirie, talents and money if need be, to mab it a live body.in the community. Ifar ministers were being - brought out from (England, but he felt that the time had come when they should train their own students in New Zealand. If anyone would give a house he would start a college right away. When the thing had to be done it was no use waiting abont it. .
