At the monthly meeting of the I'apakura Town Hoard a letter was reetived from Mr. I. 1.. Guillard in refer-

A letter was receiver! from the Railway Department advising ihe board of the site selected by the Department for the pro-i,u-e,l new station, also intimating that •:c,.-,ii would have to be paid by the people interested before going on with same. The proposed site is richt outside the Pupukui-a boundary, anil consequently not rhe slightest use. or benefit to anyone living in l-apakuni. Tlie letter was received aud passed on to the Rev. Mr. Wood, who is in charge of the matter. The board appointed Messrs. Jlilne, McCall and Weir to form v committee to look into the whole question of defininc a proper stock road leailiiis into the town from ihe north end.
