After the greens were declared open the guests adjourned to the tearooms of the new bowling pavilion kindly lent by the bowlers, and entered into a merry euchre party, prizes being i won by Mesdames Wright, Rice, Penj rose, and Miss G. Dueler. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the ladies of the Croquet Club. Early in November of the club is holding a gymkhana to raise funds to assist in paying for alterations and additions which have bene carried out to their pavilion. They had an I enjoyable stay at Banff, in the Rockies, where it was still winter bound in ice and snow. They also visited the New I Church Cathedral at Bryn Athyn, near Philadelphia, which promises to be the most beautiful specimen of ecclesiastical architecture in America. It is visited by crowds from all parts every day. They reached England on June 2, and have had bad weather since, but they had an enjoyable time in Paris in spite of the rain." They are returning to New Zealand by the Sucvic from Liverpool on September 2T.
