: Good progress is being made with the work ol rounding off the corner of Ladies Mile, nnd Remuera Road, and When this is completed it will greatly minimise the danger of collision between vehicles, as the corner that is being removed was an acute one. A substantial stone wall is also being erected in front of tho property of the late Mr. W. Crowther, so that the footpath will now be the proper width, whereas formerly it was only between four to six feet, with an eleagnus hedge overhanging. Articles collected by Flying Angel Missions to Seamen, for the garden fete, will be sold in Rt. Matthew's Hall on Wednesday afternoon, when there will also be dancing by Miss Beresford'e pupils.
