A.I Cruickshank eaid Soiners travelled at! fully 40 miles an hour. A good many | people were in the street, and he (the ! sergeant) could not understand how j iSomcra got through the crowd without j knocking somebody down. Defendant, I who did not appear, was fined £3 and 7/ costs. Kdward Lye was ordered to pay 10/ j and 9/ costs for failing to bliow a rear ( light on his motor bus on September 25 ; last at Onehungn. .Tohn K. Austin was i similarly dealt with for leaving his: motor car at night on September 4 witiiout lights.
