The PUblic Service classification list just issued shows that at last the Government has recognised that inspectors of primary schools have not been paid adequate salaries. The present list shows that senior inspectors have been increased from £000 to £715, and inspectors from £Uls to £«0o yearly. In the case of the senior inspectors in the four chief centres, the maximum salary has been fixed at £750, while the maximum for the other senior inspectors is £715.
