Going along the back, Lady l-Cerman assumed command, followed by Arch Amie. Lapidary and Appreciation. Arch Amie ran to the front as they crossed the top, followed by Appreciation, Lapidary and Winkle's Wheel. Dorinda was lirst into the straight, from Kar North, and in the run to the post Dorinda held her own to win by a neck from Aerofortis, which was three-quarters of a length in front of Kur North.
