BUTTERFAT PRODUCTION.
A DOMINION RECORD. The Bay of Plenty Dairy Association I paid out to-day the sum of £20.094 representing an advance of l/6~« v} against September butterfat and a final payment of 7Jd a Ib over the last four months of last season, bringing the I average payment for butterfat for the 1923-24 season up to 1/8.7!), excluding cream cartage, or 1/9.41 a lb, including the same. This, it is claimed, coiHtftutes a record for the Dominion over the past season. The quantity of butter manufactured during August and September shows an increase of ,i 2 tons over the corresponding period lait year
