One of the most sensational prosecutions for manslaughter, following an automobile accident, that has been heard in Canada, was completed to-night, with the sentencing of Dr. Edward Boak, one of ,the city's leading physicians, to four years' hard labour. : A month ago, late at night, Dr. Boak, after returning from the suburbs, reported to the police that he had lost control of his car on the slippery roadway, and crashed through a fence and ; wrecked tho machine.
