MANY WORKERS IDLE. I A BAND MISHAP. (Received 10.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, October 17. A disastrous fire destroyed the overhead gear in the crushing house at the Luid Paard Vlei Estate gold mine, near Krugersdorp. The damage is £30,000.
