FOUND IN A DRAWER.
NEWLY-BORN INFANT. MOTHER IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. On Thursday afternoon a woman employed at an hotel was taken suddenly ill and removed to the hospital. Subsequently, in view of suspicious circumstances, search was made of her room, and the dead body of a newly-born child was found in a drawer. The woman's condition is not thought to be critical.
