FIRE AT HERETAUNGA.
A COTTAGE DESTROYED. (B.v Telegraph.—Press Association.} WELLINGTON, this day. A four-roomed cottage at Heretaunga, owned by Mr. D. M. Findlaj-, solicitor, was destroyed by fire at 3 o'clock this morning , . It was at the time. On Thursday a quantity of new furniture and personal effects were transferred there. The house was insured for £700 in the Yorkshire office, and tho furniture for £400 in the New Zealand office. Amongst the effects saved was a trunk with £200 worth of jewellery.
