ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY'S CONCERT, (From Our Own Corresponded.' WHAXGAREI. th;s day. The Whangarei Orchestral Society presented its final concert of the season ia the Town Hall last night. In its endeavours to place the higher classes of music before the 'Whanfrajei public, the Orchestral 'Society has endeavoured to secure '.he services of high class vocalists and entertainers. On the present occasion these were Miss Vera Mojrini.? soprano (Auckland), and Mr. Tom Harris , also of Auckland, for elocution and humour. Both these artists quicfclv established themselves in favour, and the audience was exacting for encores.
