AQUATICS.
TAURANGA REGATTA CLTJB. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, this day. The annual meeting of the Regatta Club was held last night, Mr. C. F. Oliver presiding. The balance-sheet showed receipts of £473 15/5 and expenditure £392 11/6 leaving a credit of £81 3/11. The following officials were elected:—Patron, Mr C E. Macmillan, M.P.; vice-patron. Colonel Ward; president, Mr. C. F. Oliver (reelected) ; Auckland representative, Mr. W. W. Warnock : secretary, Mr. C. C. Norrie • assistant secretary, Mr. C. Clinkard. Six vice-presidents and a committee of 15 were also elected. Regatta officials were appointed as follows: —Judges, Capt. Dorling and Mr. D. Hanna; official starters, Messrs A, Leslie, E. Baggstrom; judge of launch and sailing events, Mr. J. C. Hewson ■ starter of launch and sailing events Mr W. A. Wilkinson, handlcappers for firstclass yachts, Messrs. Moberley, Hewson, and Cartel-: second and third-class yachts Messrs. r,. Mnltby and J. Robertson • sevenfooters la new class), Mr. C. Hartley launches, Mr. B. K. Randle. The most important item of the evening's business was the club's decision to add £100 cash prizes. to the gold enp race.
