WATERSIDES INJURED.
Sydney Jacobs, aged 51, a waterside worker employed by the Northern Steamship Co., was engaged loading butter in the hold of the steamer Waipu to-day, when a box fell out of a sling, striking him on the head. Jacobs was admitted to the Hospital, where an immediate operation was performed, and this afternoon he was reported to be progressing favourably. ■
