SALE OF BOOKS.

An event of especial interest to Book Lovers and Librarians is the annual sale of books now proceeding at Mr. Kealy's Bookshop and Library, Shortland Street. The range of bargains offered is calculated to appeal to every variety of taste, a few of which only can be mentioned in the space at our disposal. ' leading feature is a delightful series of foreign classics, known as the "Lotus'* series (specially marked down to the low price of 1/6 each), among which will be found the works of de Balzac, Daudet, France, Tolstoy, Zola, and others, an opportunity not to be missed.
