ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
FALCON CUP FINAL. At the weekly meeting of the A.F.A. Executive last nighf it was decided to play the Falcon Cup, final at Devonport on Saturday, and Mr. B. Parkinson was appointed referee. Application from the Brotherhood Club to change its name next season to Newton was granted. Mr. R. Knight tendered his resignation from the committee on account of removal to Wellington. The Dacre Cup final was postponed till September 27. Metropolitan were granted permission to play a team at Tamakl on Saturday. Grammar School boys notliled that In future they would play under the name College Wanderers. It was decided to re-play the third grade knockout game between North Shore and Northcote tills season, provided a ground is available. It was decided to give medals to the winners of the fourth, fifth and seventh grade competitions and to the primary schools champions. A sub-committee was appointed to report on ways and means for sending the Harbour Board team to Wellington for the Chatham Cup final on September 27. SATURDAY'S MATCHES. The following allotments of grounds and appointments of referees for Saturday's games were approved at last night's meeting ot the Auckland Football Association :— Falcon Cup Final. —Ponsonby v. Harbour Board, Devonport, 3 p.m., Mr. E. Parkinson. Linesmen: Mr. E. Harrison, Mr. McGarry. Third Grade Championship Game. — Northcote v. Otahuhu, Outer Domain, No. 1, 2 p.m., Mr. A. Winks. Fourth Grade Championship Final.— V.M.C.A. A v. V.M.C.A. B, Devonport, 2 p.m., Mr. Tillson. Sixth Grade Long Cup Knock-out.—Com T rades B v. North Shore, Outer Domain, No. 1, 10 a.m., Mr. Hanghton; Comrades A v. Brotherhood, Outer Domain, No. 1, 12 noon, Mr. F. M. Ritchie.
Primary Schools Championship Final.— Devonport A. v. St HeUer'e, Outer Domain, No. 1, 1 p.m., Mr. A. N. Hanklns. ' The final of the Tuesday Knock-out Competition, Kowhal v. Devonport A, Outer Domain, No. 1, will be played at 3.30 p.m. nest Tuesday. SECONDARY SCHOOL MATCH. A secondary school match -will be played between Mount Albert Grammar School and College Wanderers, at the Outer Domain, this afternoon, commencing at 4 p.m. The referee is Mr. J. Campbell. PRIMARY SCHOOL REPS. Mr. R. Harrison has selected the following boys to represent the Auckland primary schools, at Hamilton, nest Saturday: — Dean (Beresfora Street), Clark (Newton West), Blackman (Vermont Street), Farrell (Beresford Street), Ward (Napier Street), '.Chapman (Auckland Grammar), captain, Calder (Vermont Street), Lnnffton (Mount Albert Grammar), McLean (Nelson Street), Meehan (Napier Street), Conlthurst (Parr.ell).
