THE BENALLA MURDER
| SEARCH FOR A SUSPECT. FLIGHT OF A YOUTH. I | WALKS A THOUSAND MILES. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, this day. Alexander Clarence Thomas, aged 17 years, for whom the police are searching in connection with the murder of Miss Bridget Enwright, who was murdered and partly buried on her farm at Benalla, is said to be within a radius of 100 miles of Wodonga. It is believed he is travelling afoot somewhere north-oast of Melbourne. The police estimate that lie lias covered over 1000 miles in the last two (A. arid N.Z. Cable.)
