SHIPWRECK RELIEF.
(Received 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The annual fepoYt of the Shipwreck Belief and Humane Society states that the casualties during the year showed a, marked decrease over previous figures, l>iit more than £1400 had been spent in relieving distress, including £532 to ■widows and orphans, and £557 to seamen. The total amount paid out of funds had now reached £37,823. —(A. and y.Z. Cable.) ;
