SEAMEN INJURED.
' » ( FALL FROM MASTHEAD AND DOWN ; ] HOLD. Two seamen, and another man, were admitted to the hospital yesterday suffering from the results of accidents. Severe injuries to his right side were received by Mr. Thomas McMullin (38), a sailor on the Aupouri, whose home address is 55, Francis Street, Grey Lynn, owing to his falling from the masthead of his ship while lashing a derrick. His condition is serious.. ] Mr. Charles Darke, a .seaman on the ' i schooner Otimai, fell down the hold, a j distance of about ten feet, and injured , his left foot. He was taken to the i hospital at about 12.30 p.m. , Mr. Reginald Seagar (20), of If), Re- t gina Street, Richmond, was assisting 1 with the lifting of a heavy boiler, when < a piece of iron fell and struck him on the i I forehead ;- I left arm.
