FIRE AT BLENHEIM.
CBy Telegraph.—Prws Association.) BLENHEIM, this day. A six-roomed dwelling at Springlands, owned and occupied by Mr. W. Broadbent, was completely destroyed by fire last night, practically nothing being saved. There is an insurance on the j building of £900 in the Phoenix; for ! furniture, £350 in the New Zealand j Insurance Co. An adjacent house caught j fire, but the brigade effected a good save ; the damage to the second house bein<* j estimated at £30.
