MANY MILLIONS AFFECTED. A DANGEROUS SITUATION. (Received 1.30 pjn.) DELHI, September 14. The strained, relations between the Hindus and the Mohammedans are a serious menace to the present-day peace of India. Within the. past few weeks serious riots arising"out of religious troubles have occurred in Delhi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Poona and Kohat. Lucknow is now in the danger zone following on rumours that a Brahmin boy has been forcibly converted to Islam. .'' . I Rioting occurred on Friday night and i still continues. Inter-communal riots 'in Kokat resulted in the military occupation of the city and the evacuation of the entire Hindu population under escort. Neighbouring tribes have been advised by-the British official in charge of the district , to remain quiet, but local ruffians set fire to and looted the bazaar.
