A SURPRISE WIN ATHLETICS BEAT MAKIST 0.8. PONSONBY OUTCLASSES CITY. DEVOXPORT AND KICHMOXD WIX. Despite the strong counter attractions that prevailed on Saturday afternoon, there was an attendance of between 4000 and 5000 at Carlaw Park to witness the two senior games. Xo. 1 ground was in good condition considering the recent heavy rains.
