THE LAW BALL.
ANOTHER SUCCESS. There were approximately 300 people present at the Scots Hall last evening, when, under the patronage of their honors, Mr. Justice Stringer and Mr. Justice llerdman, the seventh annual ball of the Auckland University Law Students' Society was held. The hall had been most attractively decorated with streamers, foliage and balloons, while the stage setting for the chaperones -«-as the subject of appreciative comment. Supper was served in the halt I below. The excellent music given by I Mr. B. Kingsland'3 orchestra of nine musicians added much to the enjoyment of the evening. N"o effort on the part of the committee had been spared to make the ball a successful one, and they are to be congratulated on their arrangements, which were thoroughly appreciated by those present.
